Effective date: July 11, 2026
LubbockISDSports.com (the “Site”) is owned and operated by Texas Sports Marketing, a division of MC&O Inc. (“TSM,” “we,” “us”). Texas Sports Marketing holds the media and audio streaming rights for Lubbock Independent School District athletics. This Site is not operated by Lubbock ISD — see our Terms of Use for details. This policy explains what information the Site collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve tried to keep it in plain English.
The short version
- You never need an account, and we never ask for your name, email, or payment information anywhere on this Site.
- We use Google Analytics to understand how fans use the Site — which games get listened to, for how long, and which links get clicked. That data is aggregated: it tells us “how many,” not “who.”
- Our streaming and web servers keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) to run the service and measure audience size.
- We do not sell personal information, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not share individual-level data with sponsors — sponsors see audience totals only.
Information we collect
We do not offer accounts, sign-ups, or forms, so we never directly ask you for personal information. The information below is collected automatically when you use the Site:
Server logs
Like nearly every website, our web host and our audio streaming server keep standard access logs: your IP address, browser and device type (user agent), the pages or streams you request, and timestamps. For live audio streams, logs also record how long a listening session lasted. We use these logs to operate and secure the service and to measure aggregate audience size (for example, how many devices tuned into a broadcast).
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (deployed through Google Tag Manager) to measure how the Site is used. It records pageviews and events such as starting or stopping a live broadcast, how long audio played, taps on the “add to home screen” banner, and clicks on outbound links (for example to ticketing or a TV partner) — along with general context like the school, sport, and game involved and non-precise location derived from IP (city level). Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish returning browsers. We use this data in aggregate to understand our audience and improve the Site; reporting shared with sponsors and partners is aggregate only (totals and averages, never individual listeners). You can learn how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Stored on your device
The Site stores a few small preferences in your browser (localStorage), not on our servers: your dark/light theme choice, whether you dismissed the “add to home screen” banner, and — if you install a school’s home-screen app — cached pages and artwork so the Site loads fast and shows a friendly page when you’re offline. None of this identifies you, and clearing your browser data removes all of it.
Cookies and your choices
The only cookies the Site sets are Google Analytics cookies described above. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or retargeting pixels. Your choices:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the Site works fully without them.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Third-party services
The Site is built on a small number of service providers that process technical data (like your IP address) in order to deliver it:
- WP Engine — website hosting.
- Cloudflare — video streaming and replay delivery.
- Google — Analytics, Tag Manager, and web fonts.
- ScoreStream — the fan-reported scoreboard embedded on our home page is served by ScoreStream and governed by its own privacy policy.
The Site also links out to sites we don’t operate — including the Lubbock ISD district website, KCBD, HomeTown Ticketing, Rank One, NFHS Network, YouTube, and social media. Those links are provided for your convenience and information only. Once you leave LubbockISDSports.com, this policy no longer applies, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their policies.
Children’s privacy
This Site is a general-audience service for fans and families. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the Site requires no account and no personal details, there is nothing for a child to submit. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, contact us using the details below and we will delete it.
How long we keep data
Server logs are retained for a limited operational period and then deleted or reduced to aggregate statistics. Google Analytics data is retained per our Analytics configuration and Google’s policies. Aggregate statistics (which contain no personal information) may be kept indefinitely.
Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, and access to our servers and analytics is limited to the small team that operates the Site. No internet service can promise perfect security, but because we collect so little, the risk to you is inherently low.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under Texas law — you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information and to opt out of certain processing. Because we don’t maintain accounts or profiles, in most cases we hold nothing that identifies you personally; but if you have any privacy question or request, contact us and we’ll do our best to honor it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the Site collects or uses information, we’ll update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted on the Site.
